Stinky Westie

I love mud

Another wet day and a stinky dog again. The constant wet is helping the bacteria that feed on the oils produced by Ben's skin multiply causing him to stink a bit. He gets dried down with a micro fibre towel  when he gets to the car and another towelling down when he gets home. As westies are prone to eczema I like to groom him daily to remove dirt but do not want to bathe him too often. If he is too bad I use a mixture of baby powder and corn starch rubbed into his fur then brushed out to dry clean him.
